Violent Protester In Lancaster Gets Prison Time

A protest in Lancaster City back in 2020 turned violent and now a man who pleaded guilty to several charges including rioting has been sentenced to prison. Lancaster Online reports that 33-year-old Christopher Vazquez was ordered to serve from 52-months to nine-years after he caused more than $60,000 in damage. The uprising happened after police shot and killed a man coming at an officer with a knife.
