Avian Flu Spreads Again In PA

Three more flocks in Pennsylvania have tested positive for avian flu. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says a commercial table egg layer facility in Lancaster County destroyed more than 72,000 birds. The other two infections happened at Berks County facilities involved duck breeding. Over 60,000 birds were destroyed there. That brings the total number of flocks who have tested positive for avian flu in Pennsylvania to 12. Eight are in Lancaster County and four are in Berks County. To date, more than 4-million birds have been impacted.
