Hersheypark Breaks Ground On New Project

Groundbreaking for Hersheypark’s new 23-acre expansion Chocolatetown project was held Wednesday. The area, located between Chocolate World and the amusement park, will be home to the park’s 15th roller coaster, as well as shops, a restaurant and bar and the carousel. Arrest Made In Lancaster City Hall Arson

A Lancaster City man has been charged with arson for last month’s fire that damaged the historic front doors at City Hall. Police say 29-year old Dwain London Jr. was arrested on multiple offenses including terrorism and institutional vandalism. Bogus Checks

A West Lampeter Township couple has been charged after writing nearly $40,000 in bogus checks to an Earl Township business earlier this year. George W. Stanley,  and Dorothy A. UPDATE: York County Fire Early Thursday

Fire crews battled a blaze in a York County home overnight.  Officials say it was just after midnight when they responded  to a home in the 900-block of Whisler Road in Newberry Township.  No one was hurt.  They are still investigating the cause of the flames.  The captain says the house is pretty much destroyed.MORE
